T-Hangars

City-Owned T-Hangars

The City of San Marcos owns and leases 24 T-hangars. To add your name to the waitlist or to check your status, visit our Waitlist page.

Lease rate effective January 1, 2024: $330 per month

Privately-Owned T-Hangars

There are 40 privately-owned T-hangars on the airfield owned and operated by Kerner Aircraft Services. For information about availability and pricing, contact Randy Kerner at (512) 557-1059.

Shared Hangars

In an effort to accommodate as many aircraft as possible, the City has several hangars available for lease as Shared Hangars. Depending on the square footage of the hangar, tenants share space in a box hangar with one to two other aircraft owners. Aircraft are arranged to move independently of each other.

Leases have a one year term and are not tied to the other aircraft in the hangar. Each space rents for $350 per month.

Tie Downs

General aircraft parking on the ramp in unmarked spots is free of charge.

Aircraft owners who want to reserve a marked spot on the ramp for a monthly fee.

Storage Units

At the end of each row of T-hangars are storage units available for personal storage. The rental of a T-hangar is not required. To add your name to the waitlist or to check your status, visit our Waitlist page.

Community Hangar Space
